This book chapter presents research projects conducted by postgraduate students are related to organisational issues under uncertain times. The articles are divided into two main themes: innovation and adaptation to survive, and ways to improve organisational competitiveness. While organisations are vulnerable to many changes in the business environment, finding measures to deal with the problems are crucial to survive and stay competent in the market. In facing with uncertainties of the business environments, the ability of the management is challenged to navigate the business operations and formulate the right strategy for the organisation to adapt. Often, analysing cause and effect of a situation is not a straightforward process, but real causes are hard to identify. However, organisations need to adapt quickly to any situation for its consequences on the business wellbeing. In tough times, the ability of organisations to be resilient would likely to determine the level of their business performance and survival. The implication of the research suggests that organisations need to consider contextual elements in searching for the best adaptation strategy to cater to any issue, especially in risky contexts during challenging times.
