This book aims to provide experience and insights via the practice of mobility in the AIMS program. This covers a range of chapter entitled Introduction, AIMS Overview, AIMS and Institutional Strategy on Mobility, AIMS Implementation and AIMS 10 Years On. We would like to convey our greatest appreciation to all the esteem contributors from our participating AIMS universities in Malaysia for their contribution to the successful of this chapters in book. What is left now is to draw some conclusion by providing an overall summary based on the outcome highlighted for the benefits of mobility in the HEIs in Malaysia, regionally and if not globally paving the way into the future. After 10 years of running the program, it can be said that a strong support is needed from various parties in ensuring the continuity of the program. The government play an important role in ensuring the sustainability of the program especially on the funding to the universities. Besides that, participating university also must not depend solely on the funding from the government but must come out with strategies to support the students. Based on few researches that was conducted throughout the years, it was found that this program brings successful in terms of the students learning experience, cultural exchange, building close relationship among partner universities, networking, collaboration in terms of research and others. Based on the chapters presented earlier, there are various models developed by the researchers based on their case studies.

As such, different types of mobility will have its own model, thus providing various kinds of models that can be used according to the types, budget, and given other requirements. The various models developed can be used by many depending on their specific requirement. As these models are embedded in the chapters of the book, the next step needed is for the models to be kept in a platform where it is made accessible for the mobility practitioners to use and adopt.

It can be concluded that the impact of mobility program is most impactful to the students where AIMS program had given the platform for the students to understand the spirit of ASEAN and how ASEAN economic features are established in each ASEAN country members. The after effect of AIMS, is beyond the establishment of a stronger partnership between the ASEAN partners participating in AIMS. It goes further to materializing the ASEAN community via the friendship, understanding, collaboration and the continuity of communication between the alumnus, the stakeholders and the government officials, which leads to a better ASEAN community. To date, AIMS has expended from ASEAN to Asian has broaden the involvement of more partner universities and relationship beyond this region. This will be harmonizing education and beyond in the Asian continent.
