Studies on parasites of chickens involve many techniques and procedures, and these have been clearly explained in the book. Recognition of the various parasites encompass detailed examinations and descriptions of the morphology of the parasites themselves. It is not surprising then to see lots of illustrations and photographs, each elucidating important characteristics in the recognition and naming of the respective species. Where possible, bot sexes of a parasite are shown together with their respective body measurements.
